Where can I purchase your retail products?

The Havre de Grace Farmers’ Market, in downtown Havre de Grace, Maryland. The Havre de Grace Market runs every Saturday from 8:30 am – 12:00 pm from May through December and on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays from January-April from 9:00-11:00am. Can I purchase whole or half hog from you?

We only do whole hog sales. You may contact us directly by phone or email to inquire as to whole hog purchases. Please see the price list for whole hog pricing.

Can I have the hog taken to the butcher of my choice?

No.  We use Smucker's Meats in Mt. Joy, PA for all hog processing for freezer meat.  For roaster hogs, we use Harmony Ridge Butchers in Lancaster, PA.

Will you deliver my order for a whole hog from the butcher?

We will return the product to our farm for pick-up by the customer for all freezer meat from Smuckers Meats.  For roaster hogs, the customer is required to pick-up their processed hog from Harmony Ridge.

How do I give instructions to the butcher on my whole hog order?

We will provide you with cutting instruction forms for you to complete. We will send the forms to the butcher for you and coordinate your instructions. 

Is the butcher fee for a whole hog included in your price?

No, our price does not include the butcher fee. Customers are responsible for the payment of the butcher fee directly. If you use our butcher, Smucker's Meats, we will include the butcher fee in your overall invoice and provide you with a copy of the butcher’s invoice.

Your whole hog pricing says based on hanging weight, what is this?

Hanging weight is the weight of the animal after slaughter.
